Rector Visits Poly Food Factory to Assess Operations
The Rector of Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Dr. Chioma Irene Awuzie, visited the Poly Food factory on May 6, 2025, to conduct an on-the-spot assessment of its operations. This visit demonstrates her commitment to ensuring the institution's facilities are running efficiently.
The Poly Food factory is one of the institution's ventures aimed at promoting entrepreneurship and self-sufficiency among students and staff. During her visit, Dr. Awuzie was accompanied by members of the Management Committee.
In a similar vein, the Rector had previously visited the Oko Poly Table Water Factory, which had resumed production under her leadership after a three-year hiatus. The factory now produces over 500 bags of sachet water daily, with plans to increase production progressively.
